Corrective Exercise Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach

Kloe Miko has been working in the fitness industry since 1996. After graduating high school, Kloe and her mother owned Natural High Fitness Centre in their hometown of Davidson, Saskatchewan. Prior to the business start up, they completed the Fitness Leadership Program through the YWCA in Saskatoon (Basic Theory and Strength Training Modules). Kloe then decided to further her passion for helping people change their lifestyles and moved to Edmonton to take the Personal Fitness Trainer Program at NAIT, graduating in 1998. During this time she completed her CSEP-CPT (Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology – Certified Personal Trainer) certification, Sports Nutrition, as well as several advanced Strength and Conditioning courses through Grant McEwan. She moved to Lethbridge in 2001 to complete her Recreation Management diploma at Lethbridge College. From 2003 -2011 Kloe worked at lethbridge College in the Physical Education Building as the Fitness Centre Coordinator and Fitness Trainer. During her time at the College she developed and implemented a five year plan to upgrade the Fitness Centre with state-of-the-art machines and fitness equipment. She also designed individualized fitness programs for a wide variety of clients at the college (students, athletes, community members, obese and physically challenged.) Also, while working at the college, she completed her Business Administration degree through the University of Athabasca in 2008. 
Kloe worked with the Be Fit For Life Centre at the college as well. BFFL is an organization that offers a variety of programs to the community. She assisted with A-Prep and PARE testing for future police recruits, taught fitness classes for the Get and Keep Fit Older Adult Fitness program, and performed Body composition tests and Lifestyle Coaching for the Alberta Schools Employee Benefit Program.
Kloe left the College in 2001 and started her own Health and Wellness Business called Make a Move Fitness and Lifestyle Consulting. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology, a Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Nutrition Coach.

Kloe attends fitness conferences, workshops, webinars and educational courses whenever she can to stay current, and to further her interests. Kloe is certified with Athletic and Standard First Aid as well as CPR Level C. During her career, she has worked with people of all ages (14- 86 years of age) and abilities (accident victims, special needs, athletes, obese, and older adults/ seniors). Kloe enjoys working one-to-one with her clients to help them achieve their individual goals, but also enjoys instructing group fitness classes. She is always up for a workout with her clients, to see if they are doing what they are suppose to be doing! Kloe is very passionate about educating and advising anyone and everyone on how to make positive changes towards a healthier lifestyle!
